Department Tasks
  • Supervise the Academic Staff Affairs section.
  • Oversee preparation of recruitment competitions according to job announcement requirements.
  • Review applicants’ files according to the announced job requirements.
  • Organize files for academic staff assistants.
  • Follow up on sending files to the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Respond to correspondence from the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Analyze daily attendance and departure logs.
  • Prepare payroll-related adjustments.
  • Supervise and review registration of leaves and absences.
  • Follow up on completing seconded staff data and organize their files.
  • Follow up issuance of health insurance cards for academic staff and their insured assistants.
  • Review teaching hours and days forms for seconded staff.
  • Draft executive decisions related to ministerial directives.
  • Quarterly evaluate department staff and submit recommendations for development or disciplinary actions.
  • Perform other similar duties within the scope of responsibilities.
