Head of Department's Message
I am honored to speak to you about this department, which combines a set of basic sciences that form the cornerstone in building human knowledge. Our department, which includes the specializations of economics, mathematics, statistics, law, and the English language, serves as an incubator for critical and analytical thought, and it is the place where we learn how to think logically and how to solve complex problems. The Importance of Basic Sciences: Basic sciences are not just a set of subjects we study, but rather tools that enable us to understand the world around us and make sound decisions. Our economics teaches us how to manage limited resources, our mathematics helps us think abstractly and analyze data, our statistics teaches us how to collect and analyze data and draw conclusions from it, our law teaches us our rights and duties, and our English language enables us to communicate with the world. Challenges and Opportunities: We live in a rapidly changing era, where technology is developing very quickly, and the challenges facing our societies are increasing. But at the same time, these changes open new horizons before us and provide us with endless opportunities. Our role as members of this department is to prepare for these challenges, seize these opportunities, and be pioneers in the field of basic sciences. Our Mission: Our mission in this department is to provide our students with the best possible education, motivate them for creative thinking and innovation, and qualify them for the constantly changing job market. We also strive to build a strong academic community based on cooperation and mutual respect. In conclusion: I invite you all to exert more effort and work together to raise the standard of our department and make it a role model in the field of higher education. Thank you.
